Season 12 Draft Changes

The following represent a change to the previously announced Transition Plan.

Season 12: Draft and Pre-Season

Season 12 Draft Picks will be split equally between between each organization's major league and minor league teams. For example: If an organization has a total of 8 draft picks the major league team will be assigned the highest 4 picks and the minor league team will be assigned the lowest 4 picks. In the event an organization has an odd number of picks the major league team will get the extra pick.
Once keepers are set and draft picks are divided affiliation will formally end. There will be a short period of pre-draft trading where teams will be free to trade players and Season 12 draft picks. Major League and Minor League teams will be free to trade with each other if they wish
